Anshul Jain (born on 7 November 1970 ) is an Indian movie producer and director who is best known for his work Oh My Mother ( 2007). As a child, he was into poetry and sculpturing, which made him the youngest member of the museum of Bharat Bhavan, Bhopal. Completing his BFA in Sculpture, Mr. Jain started his career as an assistant art director. After working a long time as an assistant, he decided to become an independent Art Director and produced & directed several short films. Later he was accepted into Savannah College of Arts and Design for the MFA program.
His MFA thesis film, Oh My Mother (2007), was nominated for Academy Awards and won in 3 categories - Best Film, Best Screenplay & Best costume. He has worked with various Hollywood film industry professionals like Paramount Pictures to learn more about producing feature films. Some of his prominent work includes Chaal, The Space Jockey Pursuit, and Ivide. Currently living in the US, Mr. Jain has founded Rajamti Flims to act as a source for the Indian movies that come to the US for shooting purposes. Apart from being a producer, he's also a licensed Realtor at Harry Norman REALTORS.
