Sharat Chandra

Sharat Chandra is an Indian actor and producer. Hyderabad, Telangana, India is where he was born. Sharat Chandra has previously worked in Tollywood and the Indian entertainment industry, with his artwork appearing in Telugu, Hindi, Malayalam, and Kannada language films and web series. Sharat's enthusiasm for filmmaking led him to study Film Direction under Prayag Raaj at Digital Academy, The Film School. Oh No, his debut film, gained widespread acclaim and was broadcast on NDTV. He has collaborated with legendary filmmaker Shyam Benegal on a movie titled 'Mahadev,' which is set to be released in the near future. The notion of 'Mercy Killing' led him to create the film Freedom of Life (2005), which received widespread acclaim from critics and the public alike. In May 2006, the film was shown at the Cannes Film Festival.

Badlapur Boys was out in 2014.  Sharat Chandra also played the role of production administrator in the making of Mausam which was out in 2011, in the movie Rakhta Charitra 2 which was out in 2010, and in the movie Rakhta Charitra which was out in 2010. Sharat Chandra also played the role of executive producer in Saanncha which was out in 2008. Sharat Chandra played the role of a producer and a director in a short film named Freedom of life which was out in 2005.
