RJ Disha Oberoi

Disha Oberoi was born in Delhi. She belongs to Bangalore, Karnataka. People also call her RJ Disha. She is a very popular Radio Jockey in Bangalore. She has also worked as a Flight attendant. At present, she works at Red FM 93.5 FM. Red FM is one of the popular Radio Station in Bangalore. Disha was born in Delhi, but she later moved to Chennai and she grew up there only. She completed her studies in school from Chennai. She completed her graduation from Manipal Institute Of Communication. She has also studied Psychology as she likes it very much and she has a degree in the subject Psychology as well.

Disha has got the Certificate for Scuba Rescue Driver. Before getting into Radio, she was also a flight attendant. She began her career with an Airline. Disha has got magical voice and people like it very much, therefore, while she was working as a flight attendant people used to complement her about her amazing voice. Many people suggested her to try Rj’ing because she has got a very good voice. Therefore, she got a chance to attend a workshop on Radio Jockeying. Disha is only focusing on her career as an RJ. She wants to become a renowned Radio Jockey and she wants that she should provide fruitful information to her audience. She has got very beautiful voice which keeps on motivating and inspiring her listeners. Her words are very powerful and influence the audience very much though; she has a lot of fan following. Disha do a lot of programs on social issues to create awareness amongst the audience and such programs made her more famous and the audience love to listen to her programs.

She has done programs on the topics like No horns while Driving, Solid Waste Segregation, Anti-Road Rage and she also took an initiative to promote Digital India. Disha has also won many awards for her work. She used to do a radio program named Morning No. 1 which was an amazing program and this program won the award for World’s Best Radio Program in various categories in the New York Film Festival. In the year 2015, her program Morning No. 1 won the award for Best Information and Best News Talk Show. In the year 2016 Morning No. 1 won the award for Best Human Interest Story. Disha is a very famous RJ in Bangalore at present.
