RJ Sucharita

RJ Sucharita was born in Delhi and currently lives in Mumbai. She is working with Radio City 91.1 and she hosts the show "11 SE 2 wala Mumbai Masala". She has 7 years of experience as a radio jockey. She was 19 years of age when she started working, and since then she kept on moving forward and winning people's hearts and making them love her. She has a great vision for the city and the show. She started her schooling in Delhi in Science and was amongst the brightest kids in the school. All her teacher liked her a lot, and everyone thought that she would become a doctor. But then she took up mass media for graduation and got an opportunity to work as a Radio Jockey and came to Mumbai for completing her post graduation.

People suggested that she give auditions to become a radio jockey and she got selected for it. Initially, she used to go to places for events and give updates on the happenings to the radio jockey sitting in the studio. She was an introvert earlier, but this work of hers made her get over this fear, and within seven months she gave another audition and got her own show. She initially didn’t tell her parents about her joining the radio city 91.1 as a full-time job, but when they got to know about it. They were very happy as everyone admired their daughter. Her most memorable moment was on the day she completed her two years at Radio City, and a listener called her and wished her for that. She has a special kind of love for music.

She plays Bollywood songs all day long, and she spreads the magic of music everywhere. Social media is very useful to her as whenever she interviews celebrities, they post it on their accounts on Twitter, Facebook or Instagram. Sometimes she makes attempts at fund raising, public awareness about volunteering for social causes to help the ones in need through her show. Her hobbies are reading books. She watches a lot of American Television shows and Bollywood movies. She likes to sing and write anything that comes to her mind and express herself . She is considered as one of the top ten female radio jockeys in India and with her passion and dedication she is going to reach new heights.
