Altamash Faridi, an Indian playback singer, was born on August 17, 1989, in a one of the biggest cities of Uttar Pradesh, Saharanpur.He was the winner of the musical reality show, Close-Up Performer winner telecasted on Doordarshan in the year 2009. He competed with 99 other candidates to win that award and received a cash price of one lakh rupees along with a singing contract worth ten lakhs rupees with Rajshri Production.
