It is stated that Diljaan went to Amritsar on 29^th March 2021 to attend a meeting regarding his next song release. His song release was scheduled for 2^nd April 2021. On 30^th March 2021, Diljaan was traveling from Amritsar to Kartapur, his hometown. A truck was parked on the roadside near Jandiala Guru. His car collided with the truck and he was severely injured and had gone unconscious. Diljaan was rushed to the hospital immediately, but the doctors couldn’t save him. The doctors informed that he was brought dead. His wife and children are said to be in Canada at present.
