In 2001, Akul featured in a few episodes of a child based TV series titled “Sonpari”. The series focused on how a motherless daughter finds love and hope in the form of a Fairy Godmother. Akul’s character was of Bunty, a friend of the protagonist. Akul not only acted in the series but also wrote two Episodes of this show. The show was popular and favorite among the kids.

Currently, Akul has  a History based show on The Epic Channel and has already completed one season. The second season is now ongoing. The show named “Ekaant” meaning “Solitary” is a Travel based show focused on India. The show takes its viewers through the abandoned locations of Indian roads, alleys, forts, deserts, etc. that are historical.
