Arjun Dutt

Arjun Dutt is a young actor who has just stepped into the magnificent and glamorous life of Bollywood. When he went along with to support his friend for the audition of “ Aladdin Aladdin - Jaanbaaz Ek Jalwe Anek brings to you the >> Read More... ”, little did he know that a wish had been granted for him, for he was selected as the genie for the show. The series was aired on Zee TV in the year 2007. It was a huge success for it attracted the young as well as the older audience. The plot of the shoe went along with the original classic story of “Aladdin”.

With a shaved head, painted up in blue, Arjun Dutt was portrayed as the perfect genie or “Genu” in the show. His character is freed by a young, up until then unlucky fellow named Aladdin. Upon freeing=g the genie he has become the boys servant and grants whatever he asks for. The genie and the boy become great friends, and he helps him out in all his times of needs. This one hundred and thirty-eight-episode show (which spanned over one season) had captured the hearts of all. Aladdin, in this show, undertakes two various journeys; one for his evil uncle, to help him to capture the genie and the second to save his parents soul.

Aladdin learns from the genie that his uncle has trapped his parents’ soul in a volcano and that the volcano is now going to explode, thereby destroying his parents’ soul. With the help of the all-powerful genie, he was able to stop that disaster from happening. This series which was governed by fiction went on to be widely appreciated by everyone. Arjun Dutt had put in a lot of efforts to do the character, both physically and mentally. This young boy who loved to try out different styles with his hair had to make sure that he shaved every day till the end of production. And covering him up in the blue paint wasn’t an easy task either. He also had to ensure that his physique captured the essence of a typical genie. All his efforts were paid off when he was able to win over the audience, and when the show became a huge hit.
