Born in Delhi in 1989, Harshad graduated from Delhi University and pursued further studies in Advertising and PR. He worked as a model and also in a PR company before pursuing a career in acting. He enjoys listening to music and watching comedy shows on television.

He debuted as a news reporter in 'Tumhari Paaki', and played a minor role as Shatrughna in 'Devon Ke Dev…Mahadev', both being dramas that aired on Life OK. But he had a meteoric rise to fame being cast as the lead in Beintehaa, where he delighted the audience and earned a lot of adulation and acclaim. For his performance, he bagged the title of ‘Best Debut Actor (Male)’ in the 2014 Zee Gold Awards.

His favorite cuisine includes Continental, Lebanese, Moroccan, Italian and Indian. He is a vegetarian for life and believes in eating healthy, exercising regularly, and sleeping well.

Although he enjoys the attention he gets from the opposite sex due to his fame, he does miss to visit his family in Delhi more frequently. He is rumored to be romantically involved with his co-star, Gunjan Vijaya.

Hailing from the capital city of New Delhi, Harshad Arora (born 3rd September, 1987) is well-known for playing the lead role of Zain Usman Abdullah in the famous show Beintehaa on Colors. He completed his education from Delhi University, graduating in Mathematical Science, and has experience working in a PR firm. Harshad Arora came to the limelight by modeling all throughout his college years, followed by multiple advertisements later.  

A sudden career path change led him to experiment with acting in Mumbai, which bagged him the role of Zain Abdullah. Beintehaa is a love-hate relationship between Zain and Aaliya (Preetika Rao), and centres on societal expectations, and cultural beliefs. On his role, Harshad said, “Zain is a man of today”, which gives his fans insight about Harshad’s characterization for the same. The leading man has already proven his capabilities and garnered quite a fan following, owing to his great looks, and good PR skills on Twitter.

His work has already won him several accolades, the most notable being the Zee Gold Awards for Best Debut Male Actor. In his spare time, Harshad works hard in maintaining his body for his role, and believes in keeping fit by working out, jogging and eating healthy. He is also a big foodie, and enjoys different cuisines. His dream role is to play a role that is opposite to his personality type, something that is very challenging and unique.
