He was born on November 24th, 1983 to a compact family comprised of his parents and sister. Hitesh graduated with a BA LLB degree from the Bharti Vidyapeeth University in Pune and is now a criminal lawyer at the Punjab and Haryana High Court, also working as the law manager at Curo, a real estate company.

The reason for taking part in the program Perfect Bride, Hitesh stated, was to search for a prospective good girl who would show fortitude and strength, all good and bad qualities, in trying times. It is no surprise hence that the most admire-worthy couple for him is the duo of Shah Rukh Khan Shah Rukh Khan or also known as SRK is a prominent >> Read More... and his wife Gauri. Conversely, Hitesh’s entry on the 2009 show was purely unplanned - he had happened to be on the set trying to get his cell phone back when he also ended up becoming an inadvertent participant with 4 other bridegrooms as they are shown trying to choose from eleven girls.

Initially, he had fallen in love with a girl called Pooja who broke his heart not being able to win his family over. Despite this loss however, Hitesh emerged the winner after striking a chord with Rumpa – and they achieved the title of first couple to get married on TV as well as winning the prize money of 25 lakhs. Since then, he has done some modeling and acting as well, by playing the role of Prem in Sapnon Se Bhare Naina (Star Plus). Regardless, the main point of his life still remains his marriage to Rumpa and their journey in life together. Defying expectations, they have remained with each other, vowing to keep their sacred relationship alive. Rumpa gave birth to Hitesh’s baby boy on February 27th, 2013. Their son’s name is Ryann.
