He is actually a native of Udaipur. He has come to Mumbai and settled in the city for the past twenty years. He is 46 years old and came into the world of television when he took his son for an audition. There, instead of his son, he himself was offered a role by the agency that was totally impressed by his interest and enthusiasm for acting.

Since Lokendra Rajawat is a native of Udaipur, he was brought up and had his schooling there. His ancestral house is still in Chandpol, where his mother still resides. His father is Chandra Singh Rajawat. He was earlier working as an employee of Mines and Geology Department. Rajawat has also appeared in a recent Hindi Television series called Junoon. He has played the role of an office boss in one of the episodes in that serial, which was on Life Ok Channel.
