Vijay Ishwarlal Pawar is a famous standup comedian, who is also known as VIP. He has a god gifted quality of making people laugh. His father is also a comedian. His screen presence is always very entertaining. He has great comic timing and is a mimicry expert, who can do mimicry of more than 50 Bollywood actors. During his school time, he used to mimic his teachers. He has been a standup comedian since the last 14 years and he wants to get his name entered in the Guinness Book of Records for his talent of mimicking animal voices.

He started his television career in the year 2007 through Sony TV's show, Comedy Circus. He participated in the first season of Comedy Circus and became the finalist, but could not win the show. In season 2, which aired in the year 2008, he paired with Juhi Parmar and he won. He again contested in Comedy Circus in season 4, this time he paired with Sawapnil Joshi, who was his partner in season one. He also appeared in Dekh India Dekh on Sony TV in 2009. As a comedian, he has appeared in many award functions and other events.

He considers comedian Johnny Lever as his role model. He believes that a comedian has to be fearless then only he will be able to showcase his real talent. Being a brilliant comic artist, he bagged an entertaining role in Abhishek Bachchan and Ajay Devgan starrer super hit movie, ‘ Bol Bachchan’, which released in 2012. V.I.P, aka Vijay Ishwarlal Pawar, is a comedy actor in Hindi TV serials and TV reality shows. The actor V.I.P. made his debut as a comedy actor in the fun-filled popular show known as ‘Comedy Circus'. Although the show had taken off in the year 2007 first, V.I.P. got a chance to appear in the first and second season. V.I.P and his co-actress, Juhi Parmar, won the title. In the same year, for another episode which was titled as ‘Kaante Ki Takkar’, V.I.P retained his crown along with three more artists namely Swapnil Joshi, Rajesh Kumar and Rajiv Nigam.

In the year 2007 (Comedy Circus), he climbed the ladder of finalists. In the year 2009, he again made a comeback in the show ‘Comedy Circus’, with the title ‘Dekh India Dekh’. After achieving the dizzy heights in this comedy show, the actor was roped in for the stand-up comedy serial for SAB TV. This show was titled as ' The Great Indian Family Drama', which featured Satish Kaushik and Archana Puran Singh in pivotal roles. The show was produced by Contiloe Entertainment, but this show faced a lukewarm response and less TRP ratings.

Hence, this show was taken off in just a few weeks after it got premiered on SAB TV. The show premiered on 3 January, 2015, and went off the air on 28 February, 2015. The actor was also a part of another show, ' Comedy Classes', which telecasted on the Life Ok channel in 2014. The actor even appeared in a Bollywood movie, ‘Bol Bachchan' (2012). Bol Bachchan was a film of Rohit Shetty, which featured Ajay Devgan and Abhishek Bachchan. It is said that this stand-up comedian actor did not get recognized in Bollywood.
