Yahya Bootwala

Yahya Bootwala, considered as one of the richest poets in India has a net worth between 1-5 million. He hails from the city of Mumbai and rose to fame in 2017 after his poem Shayad Vo Pyar Nahi went viral on social media, gaining him around 619k subscribers on his YouTube channel, while around 120k followers on Instagram and approximate 76k followers on Facebook.

After the success of his poem, he went to star into a short film titled Sheher Ya Tum, which later won the title of the best short film in the MAMI Mumbai film fest,2018. Yahya always dreamt of being an actor and began writing poems, initially out of frustration, which later started making sense, taking him closer towards his success and fandom.

He describes himself as a secretive person who is a bit shy as well as a bit childish. Yahya also believes that it was his passion for acting that brought out the writer, poet, storyteller, philosopher, cinema lover, and lover inside him in front of the world.

The young actor finds Ranbir Kapoor's role in the movie Tamasha as one of his dream roles, apart from that he wants to try the characters that can further help him explore as an actor, such as that of a strong villain or something artistry, apart from these he also has a strong liking towards romance and wishes to do some romance-oriented roles in the future.

Yahya was quite interested in engineering.Thus, he took science as his course to achieve that dream but later changed towards Bachelors of Mass Media, which according to him, was a life-changing subject. Since 2017 Yahya has written quite many viral poems like 120 Minutes, Bol Na, etc. but the ones closest and the most relatable to him is Cycle, as it deals with the process of a child learning how to cycle by listening to and observing his surroundings.Also, he felt that the fusion of learning the cycle and life lessons was much appreciated, thus the poem gives him a sense of assurity and relatability.

The young author strongly believes that a well-observed and honest work absolutely rocks and is unconditionally loved by the people as it is usually something very relatable and original.
