Ankita Dubey is a young Indian television actress who is getting a lot of negative publicity for her withdrawal from the very popular ongoing serial on Zee TV ''. On the one hand she alleges the director of the teleserial Sant Ram Verma whose misbehaviour went to the levels of financial and mental torture, but the critics have a different story to tell. It is said that she is peeved due to the reason that even after working as Moti Bai in this serial for long, people still think it is who is Moti Bai. Ishita Vyas was originally selected to perform as Moti Bai and her name also appears in google searches etc due to which people still feel it is Ishita Vyas who is performing as Moti Bai.

Ankita Dubey was born in Luckow in 1990 and she received her education at Modern Academy Lucknow from where she completed her Intermediate in Commerce. After that she was acting in theatres and dramas and that ultimately led to her entry int the world of television serials. She had come to Mumbai to have a feel how the television industry performs when she was offered the lead role of Indu in a regional Channel Mahua TV 'Sendur Maang Tikuli' under the banner of Balaji Telefilms Ltd of . This serial became very popular and she got another role in a Colors Channel serial produced by Shashi Sumeet Productions 'Kairi-Rishta Khatta Meetha' as Vibha, the younger sister of the female lead.

Her television career is only three years old and the audience expects much more from her.
