Devika Sharma

Devika Sharma is an Indian television actress who is a fresh talent in the Bollywood showbiz. She was born on 1st May 1992 in Kanpur, Uttar Pradesh. She graduated from the all-girls’ college, Miranda House, an affiliation of the Delhi University, where she was an active member of the college’s dramatics society ‘Anukriti.’ She made her debut on television with a supporting role in an episode of Star TV’s “ Savdhaan India Show Story Coming Soon... >> Read More... ” (2012).

Her role in the episode was a minor one, which did not bring her much into focus. Devika portrayed the major character of Rani Sumukhi in Naagarjuna, which eventually got her noticed for her efforts. She later bagged her first lead role in the ‘Transgender’ episode of Sony TV’s real-crime based TV show “Crime Patrol: Satark” (2003).

Her latest works were in Crime Patrol’s two-part episode ‘Lure’ (2018), wherein she played the protagonist Neelima in the first installment, and ‘Courtroom’ (2019). She currently resides in the capital city of Mumbai, Maharashtra with her family.
