Born on October 16 Priya Ahuja now also known as Priya Ahuja Rajda Priya Ahuja Rajda,commonly known by her fame-name, >> Read More... is an Indian TV actress and is mostly popular for her role as Rita Reporter in the famous TV serial “Tarak Mehta kaoltah Chasma” PERSONAL LIFE: Priya did her schooling from Kendriya Vidyalaya Gole Market, New Delhi she joined the school in 1990 and completed her high school i.e. till 12th from there and left it in 2002. After completing her schooling in 2002, she took the gap of one year and later joined the JD Institute of Fashion Technology India to study Fashion Design in 2003. She completed her college in the year 2004. After her college and working in many TV shows she got a role in “Tarak Mehta kaOoltahChasma” as Rita Reporter. It was during the shooting of this show she met with the director of the show MalavRajda and fell in love with him and both of them later tied the knot on November 19, 2011. In an interview, Priya said that she is very phobic to pregnant women, and she fears pregnant women and baby bumps.

CAREER PriyaAhuja after graduating from JD Institute of Fashion Technology India in 2004 went on to work in many TV shows like Haunted Nights on Sahara one and also one episode of Savdhan India @11 on Life Ok and later got the role in Tarak Mehta kaooltahChasma as Rita Reporter in 2008 where she plays the role of a news reporter in KalTak Channel and takes interest in various events that are held in Gokuldham Co-operative Society like Gokuldham Premiere League and other festive events. Although she plays the role very well, the character itself is not framed well in the story because of which she keeps on entering and leaving the show again and again. Later about her role, she said, “I have been re-entering and exiting Tarak so many times now, that the show is like my family. As I have said earlier as well that just because as a Rita Reporter as a character is not framed well and didn’t get with the audience hence the story needs me to come again and again. Well, I am enjoying shooting for Tarak yet again.” Apart from working in Tarak Mehta Kaooltah Chasm aPriyaAhuja went on to work in 2013 movie Desires of the Heart as Lena.
