Rudrakshi Gupta is a popular television actress mainly known for her supportive role in some of the top grossing Hindi tele serials of popular channels. Rudrakshi Gupta who hails from a well-educated family from Uttar Pradesh, India came into audiences notice with the Star Plus’s successful yet controversial Hindi television serial Mitwa Phool Kamal Ke in the year 2009 where she played the role of the lead female protagonist Sargam. In this serial, Rudrakshi portrayed the character of a girl who hails from a very conservative and traditional Hindu Brahmin family and is a sensible and loving. She studies and believes Hindu religion by heart and wants to keep all her family members binded by love and keep her whole family united but eventually fell in love with a boy from another community against her families wishes. She was much liked in her role in Mitwa. Next she was seen on NDTV imagine’s popular comedy family show Jasuben Jayantilaak ki joint family where she essayed the role of Gita, wife of one of the son of the joint family where she plays very efficiently and adorably the role of a dutiful and loving who works and also look after the household in order to support her family and her husband whose income is a bit low. The role of Gita also popularized Rudrakshi and made her a household name. Lately, she is being seen playing a character with negative shade in Zee TV’s hit and much liked show Sapne Suhane Ladakpan ke, where she plays Mayank’s evil mother.
