Sabina Jat is an Indian television actress who came to be recognized after her appearance in Zee TV’s soap opera “ Woh Apna Sa Woh Apna Sa is an Indian Television drama series p >> Read More... ” (2017). She played the character of Surbhi Agarwal, younger sister of the female protagonist, Jhanvi Aditya Jindal (played by Disha Parmar).

The show folds out the story of a man (Sudeep Sahil) falling in love with a woman (Disha) due to his precipitously degrading marriage, where Surbhi (Sabina) is a key asset in supporting her sister all the way through. Her role was crucial to the narration, thereby constantly showcasing her brilliance at acting.

She was under the Sun sign of Leo on 24th August 1994 in Srinagar, Jammu & Kashmir. Her interest in acting kindled when she started performing in stage plays in school. After years of practicing, she got her break on the small screen in 2015 with “Thapki Pyaar Ki,” aired on Colors TV.

She was seen as Kiran Balvinder Pandey on the show in a major supporting role. The series’ popularity made for a strong base for Sabina to start her career. Sabina landed her first lead role in the eighteen-minute short film “Budh (Awakening)” (2018).

The story revolves around three women, who represent the different hardships that women in India and the rest of the world have to face, wherein they are oppressed, taken for a liability and treated as a commodity due to the prevailing gap between the two sexes. It ends with the women breaking the social barriers and coming out of their shells to take their stands as they experience an ‘awakening.’ Jat played Yvonne, one of the three leading ladies, hitting her arrow on the mark in delivering the powerful message which has been ignored for centuries.

She loves to collect footwear and currently resides in Mumbai, Maharashtra, featuring as Roohi Jindal, a regular supporting character in Colors TV’s “Kavach... Kaali Shaktiyon Se” (2016).
