Sangita Joshi is a prominent face in Gujarati and Hindi Serials. She has also acted in a few films, which has made her quite popular. She was born on 15th April 1958 into a Gujarati family and is a B.com graduate. Sangita Joshi is most popular for her role as Pannaben, in the highly-rated Gujarati serial, Preet, Piyu Anne Pannaben, which was aired on Colors Gujarati. This role has made her immensely popular among the Gujarati audience. Sangita Joshi was also a part of numerous Gujarati dramas, which showcased her acting skills and passion.

Her first on-stage Gujarati drama was Savaka Sarnama, with director Kanti Madia. Sangita Joshi is the recipient of a number of prestigious awards like several Best Actress Awards for her Hindi plays and the Tejaswini Award of Mulund Brahmin Samaj Mahila Mandal Charitable Trust. She also received the 2010 Transmedia Award for The Best Character Actress for her Gujarati film, Ame Ek Daal Na Phool. Joshi has also received the Kutchi community Award for being a talented actress and a learned writer.

Sangita Joshi is a fun-loving lady and loves to travel. She is a Bharatanatyam and Kathak dancer and has learned Vocal music too. She writes for many Hindu and Gujarati newspapers and magazines. She has also published a couple of books including her travelogues. She is a professional photographer and a collection of her photographs were put on an exhibition named “Fusion” in 2015. She also had a wildlife Photography exhibition in an art gallery in Mumbai.
