Sonika Sahay is a renowned Indian Television actress who was on a hiatus from the TV industry for quite a long time, but she resumed her work when she started working in the Television Series Parivaar - Kartavya Ki Pariksha, portraying the role of Parminder a.k.a Pammi, which aired on Zee TV. Sahay has portrayed the role of Ginni in the TV series Saat Phere- Saloni Ka Safar that was being aired on Zee TV. She has been married for seven years and has two daughters Vasudha and Sharinee. Sahay and Pathak met during the shooting of an ad film, they fell in love with each other. After knowing each other for a span of five months they got married. Her marriage is in shambles as problems developed between the two after Pathak’s movie Bheja Fry was released. In 2008 a divorce was filed by Pathak and they were given a counseling session in 2009 which did not help much. A divorce petition has been filed and she is the respondent as per rumours Pathak has not separated with his wife due to fear of alimony.
