Vandana Asthana began ger acting career later in her life relatively as compared to other actresses. Vandana was a housewife previously and expressed a desire to work in the show business. She auditioned for many roles, and made her debut in the hit TV serial Crime Patrol. Hosted by Anoop Soni, a true-crime show, where Vandana appears as a recurring cast member in various different stories.
In 2017, Vandana made her Bollywood debut when she starred in the movie Tarpan, a critically acclaimed crime story about an upper-caste brat who molests a lower caste girl of a North Indian village. She next appeared in Love And Shukla, a very small budgeted indie romantic comedy about a rickshaw driver who fails to establish intimacy with his newly-wed shy wife.
