She accompanied Simran in Kovilpatti Veeralakshmi. She has also acted in two Malayalam movies namely Moonamthooral and Hareendran Oru Nishkalankan. She appeared in Poova Thalaiya in Tamil in the year 2010. After a long gap, she appeared in Nanbaenda, a Nayantara movie. At present, Shirein is acting in a horror movie called Dhigil in Tamil, which is expected to release by 2016.
