Shruti Bhide

Shruti Bhide is a Kannada Singer, based in India. She is one of the most popular singers in the musical circuit of Bangalore. Her journey started when she was three. Her father, Sunil Bhide, was a Stage Singer and Performer and her mother, Archana Bhide, was a talented music lover. Both of her parents were her first ‘Musical Gurus’. Since childhood, she was recognized as a singer and joined her father in his singing. She completed her schooling at Sudarshan Vidya Mandir in 2002. Later, she did her diploma in Sound Recording and Engineering from 2004 to 2007. She has been a professional freelance singer and performer since January 2007.

She is also a Kannada theatre artist and has performed for more than five years at the National School of Drama (N.S.D), Delhi. She contested for various famous musical reality shows like Zee tv ‘Close-up Antakshari’, Channel V ‘Super Singer’, and was a finalist of ‘Voice of Bangalore- Season 2’ and the Kannada Singing Reality show ‘Kannada Kogile’ on Colors Super channel. She has shared the stage with the legendary Bollywood Singer Shri. Md. Aziz, Kannada Music Director Gurukiran, Playback Singer Vijay Prakash, Grammy Award Winner Dr. Prakash Sontakka, Pop and Playback Singer Usha Uthup, Actor and Music Director Praveen D Rao, Music Director and Actor Sadhu Kokila, and Kannada Rapper and Music Director Chandan Shetty. She is known to sing in multiple languages.
