Thandav Ram is an Indian film and television actor best remembered for his performance as Ramanna from the daily soap Jodi Hakki. Thandav Ram was born on December 6th in the city called Hassan in Karnataka. Thandav always wanted to be an actor, but his parents didn’t approve of his career in the film industry. Instead, they wanted him to become a government employee or a Police officer. Apart from acting, Thandav also became interested in bodybuilding and set out on his journey of building his muscles. He faced opposition from his family on pursuing bodybuilding too. However, he persuaded his family and took part in a bodybuilding championship. Because of his perseverance, Thandav won at the local and state level bodybuilding competitions and went on to win the Mr. Hassan Championship.

After graduation, he left for Mysore in the context of studying animation. But as soon as he reached Mysore, Thandav joined the Rangayana theatre institute and showcased his acting skills through plays. The theatre plays with senior artists helped him hone his talents and learn about various aspects of acting. Even after leaving Rangayana, Thandav continued performing in plays and dramas. The serial turned out to be a great success by airing over 250 episodes.  Post Krishna Rukmini, Thandav Ram appeared as the lead in the Kannada drama Bala Aparoopa Nam Jodi in Zee Kannada. The show gave him fame and film opportunities.

In 2016, director Sharat Khadri offered him the lead role in his film Mareyelaare, a feel-good love story. Upon the release of the movie, Thandav came out as a promising actor. The year 2017 turned to be the best year for Thandav Ram, as he starred in the Zee Kannada’s serial Jodi Hakki. For his portrayal as Ramanna, Thandav Ram won many awards, including the Zee Kannada Kutumba Awards under the Best Actor category. Besides, he got listed at the 11th position in Times Most desirable men in Television 2018 Bangalore. Further, he owns a gym called Ironstone Gym. From facing opposition from his family to pursue his dream of being a star, the journey of Thandav Ram is full of success as well as struggles.
