Shraddha Gokul

Shraddha Gokul shot to fame by performing live in Kochuvartamanam a children’s program in Kairali People TV. She won the best child anchor award for this program. She also later participated in a ‘Super Dancer Junior’, a popular reality show aired on Amrita TV. She was a 10-year old girl then. In the program, she has shown the rare skills in her dancing efforts and could perform any dances with equal grace.

She was so comfortable in her dancing steps, that whoever watched her performance in the show felt that she had an exceptional grace and movement skills. It was an indeed tremendous accomplishment of a little girl to achieve this feat at such a young age. She is skilled in folk, modern and even other cinematic dance forms.

After achieving fame and popularity as a dancing little star, this talented contestant, and winner of popular reality TV show ‘Super Dancer Junior’, had acted as ‘Varsha Menon’ nicknamed, “bubbles” in a very popular children TV serial in prime time. Participation in TV shows makes her feel good and offers Shradha a sense of satisfaction. And she always keeps working in other programs or live shows to remain in the limelight. While the kids are getting good exposure through reality shows, academics did not take a backseat at all for her. She is continuing her education and it is her parents still to decide if she will take up acting in cinema and TV serials seriously.

Fame and money at such a young age are indeed a rare luck, but for Shraddha Gokul, it has been quite an easy journey. Buoyed by the response of ‘Super Dance Junior’ show, she is now aiming at bigger media platform be it cinema or TV series.

Shraddha completed her medical studies in the Philippines and is a doctor.
