Kanmani Upasana

Kanmani Upasana is a child artist who works predominately in Malayalam television and film industry. She is a child actress and has won the title of tod little miss universe in the little miss universe pageant of 2016 which was held in Georgia. She has been a part of various Malayalam films and ad films. Kanmani was born in Wayanad to Mr. Anoop Upasana and Mrs. Manju. She is the only child of her parents. Mr. Anoop is a fashion photographer while Mrs. Manju is a fashion designer. Currently residing in Ernakulum Kanmani is just six years old and is studying in Campion school ideally in 1st standard. During her free time, she loves drawing and listening music. Born in an artistic family Kanmani first faced the camera when she was just 4.5 years old.

Anoop discovered her love for camera and fashion. He and her mother encouraged her to move in the direction of her interest. She got the necessary guidance from her parents itself about the dresses, the way of walking and talking. She used to sit along with her mother and watch several fashion show videos. She participated for the first time in Cochin fashion show 2014 and was the second runner-up. Next, she participated in the flower show of she was the winner. This show boosted her confidence to a larger extent and infused the power to move forward. Later, she won the little miss universe India pageant which was held at Calicut. Following this, she even represented India in little miss universe.

This event was organized and held in the USA. Besides winning this title in the category of 4 to 8 years, she also won three other titles which are best model little miss universe 2016, tod little miss universe and miss internet voting 2016 at the event held in Georgia, USA. She has also been selected to represent India in two events which are to be held in Bulgaria that is king and queen contest and prince and princess world contest. Kanmani, though very young still is full of offers from films, serials, advertisements as well as a fashion show. She has featured in five Malayalam movies which include Onnam Lokamahayudham, seconds, ben, ollapeepi, etc. She desires to be a doctor in future.
