Ashokan

Ashokan was born in 1967 at Cheppad in Alappuzha. Ashokan got graduated from TKMM College in Haripad. He got his first film offer when he was in his first year of his college. “Peruvazhiyambalam” was his debut movie which was a huge success. In 1986, Ashokan did a movie namely “Arapatta Kettiya Gramathil” which was directed by P.Padmarajan. Ashokan did a movie namely “Thoovanathumbikal” in 1987, which had actor Mohanlal in the leading role. “Anantaram” which was a 1987 Malayalam picture, in which Ashokan did the principal role. The film won four awards including national film awards of India. In the year 1988, Ashokan did a project called,”Moonnam Pakkam.” The film had Jayaram and Thilakan in the leading roles.

Ashokan did a character by name Hari in the 1988 Malayalam movie “Janmandharam” which was directed by Thampi Kannanthanam.In the year 1990, Ashokan did a role in the comedy feature film, “ In Harihar Nagar Click to look into! >> Read More... ” which got directed by Duo directors Siddique – Lal. He did his bit part in the movie,”No.20 Madras Mail” which was directed by Joshiy. The film,”Samrajyam” which was directed by Jomon in the year 1990 also had Ashokan in a vital role. In the same year 1991, Ashokan acted in the film,” Mimics Parade” which was directed by Thulasi Das. In 1994, Ashokan did a film namely “Kudumba Visesham.”Ashokan did a movie called “Spadikam” in the year 1995.The Movie “Sasinas” had Ashokan’s performance in the year 1995. In the year 1996, Ashokan did a project called, “Dominic Presentation”. The film “Moonilonnu” directed by ‘Dr.Haridas’ in the year 1996, had Ashokan doing a character in it. The 2003 Malayalam project,”Mullavalliyum Thenmavum” had Ashokan playing a role in it. Throughout his career, Ashokan had given his best in whatever character he has been specified to play.
