Saji Venkulam

Saji Venkulam is an Indian film artist who is well-known for playing women characters in Malayalam television. She is seen in many plays and shows as a woman character. She was born in Thiruvananthapuram and was raised there. She completed her schooling and college from Varkala. From her school days, she was very much into drama and plays rather than studies.

She has done various plays at her school as well as in her locality. She used to perform at Nukkad-Natak held at the locality, and also participated in various competitions held at the school level. Saji Venkulam used to be a part of drama crew at her school. After completing her schooling, she took admission at SN College, Varkala. She was the part of college drama team.

She used to play the part of both men and women characters in the skits. Her acting skill helped him gain a lot of popularity. While she was in college, she was offered various jobs as a stage performer and a stage artist. After completing her college, she decided to begin her career at Indian Television. As a stage performer, she was supposed to play various roles and she did all of them without any hesitation. She was offered to perform in various TV shows, such as Xpress Night, Comedy Cousins, Super Mega Show 2014, Comedy Night, and many others.

She performed as a stage performer in the skits and plays, when she was about to begin her career and after getting recognition from her plays, she was offered many roles in Television shows. Saji Venkulam used to play the role of women characters in the show which was aired on Asianet. Before appearing on Television, Saji Venkulam had almost 15 years of experience as a stage artist.

Later, she was offered to play a role in the movie ‘Ardhanari,’ a Malayalam movie directed by Dr Santhosh Souparnika. She has played roles of women in various Television reality shows, such as “Comedy Cousins,” sponsored by Vodafone. Later, she worked as a stage performer in Super Mega Show 2014. She is really loved by the audience and has got appreciations for her work. After working in the comedy reality show, she now plan to work in films. In an interview she said, "It is my dream to work in the Malayalam film industry," and is looking forward to the new opportunities.
