Shobha Mohan, the graceful actress of Malayalam movies, has marked her presence in numerous films. Character role gets first preference to her. • Biography

Shobha Mohan set her foot in this mortal world in Kottarakkara to the veteran actor Sreedhar Nayar & Vijaya Lakshmi. In 1982, she cast her appearance for the first time in the movie “Balloon" as the lead actress. She tied the knot to Malayalam theater actor Mohan Kumar on 5th November 1984. They had two sons who also opted to be an actor like their mother. Alongside movies, she was also cast in dramas.

Some of her imprinted work in movies are as follows: In 1965, she earned popularity & positive feedbacks in the form of a child artist in Thommante Makkal movie. Under Lal Jose's direction in 2006, “Classmates" hit the theaters, the film got a 7.9 rating from IMDb. The plot signifies a group of classmates in college who arranged a reunion after ten years that suffers a weird & confused situation. Friendship undergoes cracks, love gets a look into & secrets from the past gets into the spotlight. Shobha Mohan performed te role of “Lakshmi " in the film granting huge hits in its favor.
