Thai Kochuparambil Subramanian Padannayil was an actor from India, who also appeared in Malayalam films. He began his acting career in the film industry through theater when he was 21 years old, and in 1995, he made his film debut in Rajasenan's comic film Aniyan Bava Chetan Bava. He has appeared in almost 60 films.Tovino Thomas Starrer Minnal Murali, was his last film. Vrudhanmare Sookshikkuka (1995), Independence (1999), and Vamanapuram Bus Route(2004) were among his many credits. In 1933, he was born in Kochi as the youngest son of Kochupadannayil Thai and Maani. He had five siblings, three brothers and two sisters.
He dropped out of school after sixth grade due to financial difficulties. Within 40 years, he appeared on thousands of stages. In addition, he has appeared in over a hundred TV comedy series. He made his living by running a little shop in Tripunithura. He got married to Ramani in 1972. Syam, Sannan, Saljan, and Swapna were his four offspring, three sons and a daughter. In Kochi, he was staying with his older son Syam. K.T.S Padannayil died on July 22, 2021, at the age of 88, at a Kochi hospital due to age-related diseases.
