Biju Ningombam is a renowned actress in the Manipur film and television industry. Biju was born on 26th December to Kunjbihari Singh and Ongbi Bimola Devi in Kakwa Selungba Leikai in Manipur. She started as a child actor in Ningol Kada on DDK Imphal. Biju has worked in films like Meerang Mahum, Phishakhol, Mandalay Mathel, Thamoina Thamoida, Ei Actor Natte and Numit Tha. She bagged a role in the music album Phajarabi Nanggi Maithong, produced by her cousin.
Biju won the title of Best Actor in a Leading Role for the film Phishakhol at the 7th SSS MANIFA 2018. She received the Special Jury Mention at the 13th Manipur State Film Awards 2020 for Ei Actor Natte, Best Actor in Leading Role at the 9th SSS MANIFA 2020 for Ei Actor Natte, and Best Actor in Leading Role at the 14th Manipur State Film Awards 2022 for Nungshi Keithel.
