Sairam Dave was born on 7 February, 1977 in Jamnagar, Gujrat. His full name is Prashant Vishnu Prasad Dave. He is a multi-talented person. He is a folklorist, teacher, comedian, poet, motivational speaker, writer and, an international artist.

He belongs to a middle-class family. Her mother's name is Sarojben Dave and, his father's name is Vishnu Prasad Dave. He has two brothers, named Amit Dave and Kishan Dave. He has two sons, Dhruv and Dhamaraj. He inherited this trait of singing from his father who sings bhajans and a little of folk music.

He started his career in folklore in 1997. He gained fame in 2001 through his comedy audio. His first book, Sairam Na Hastakshar, based on patriotism, tragedy, and comedy, was inaugurated on 7 February, 2007, at Rajkot. He earned the Gujarat Gaurav Award in 2007. He also achieved the Glory of Gujrat Award in 2017. Dave was a Gem of Gujrat Awards.
