Shilpi Agarwal is a prominent Marathi costume designer, film stylist, and producer. She completed her graduation from the National Institute of Fashion Technology in 2006. She joined Pantaloons Fashion & Retail as a Dress Designer in 2006 and worked with this company from Sep 2006 to Dec 2007. As a design manager, she had to give design inputs in terms of fabric and outfits for both domestic as well as international brands to drive business growth. From Feb 2016 to Apr 2016, Shilpi worked as an associate costume designer for the Drishyam Films’ movie Newton. At the end of the year 2017, she joined the team of the film Yours Truly, produced under Platoon One Films, as a costume designer.

In 2018, she designed costumes for a short film Rammat-Gammat. From Jun 2018 to Jul 2018, she worked as a costume stylist for the short film Bhaiyya Morey under Terribly Tiny Tales Production. From Jun 2018 to Sep 2018, Shilpi Agarwal also worked as a costume stylist for the Marathi film Picasso. In 2019, she worked as a costume designer for the film 377 AbNormal. She was the producer as well as the costume designer of the short film Aapke Aa Jane Se, released in 2019, and for this film, she got a nomination in the Independent Film Festival Chennai.
