Devendra Shivaji Jadhav is an Indian director, writer, and producer who works mainly in the Hindi film industry. Devendra Shivaji was born on September 22, 1974, in Bombay, India. He completed his schooling at Vidya Mandir High School, Goregaon, Bombay. He completed his junior college from Sanskardham College and he completed his degree college from Bombay University. He has been working in a Finance company for years and after that, he had a factory of photo lamination. After that, he started his passion for directing films. Devendra Shivaji started his career as an associate director for movies, TV serials, ads, and albums. Devendra Shivaji directed and produced a documentary film on Lalbaughcha Raj. Devendra Shivaji also directed a short film “And Gandhi Goes Missing.” It was shown at different festivals all over the world. It was his debut film in the Hindi film industry. Devendra Shivaji won the Best Director Award for this film at the 6th Nasik International Film Festival held on March 2014, in India.

This short film was also telecasted in the Maharashtra Short Film Festival in May 2014. It was the winner of the Festi-Vittei Film Festival, in Paris, in July 2014 and also won the Awareness Award at Bioscope Global Film Festival in Delhi, in 2014. Devendra Shivaji also won many awards for that short film. Devendra Shivaji Jadhav was the writer, director, and producer for “Womaniya,” a web series that was released on the OTT platform, Atrangii on 22 March 2024. This series is based on woman empowerment. Devendra Shivaji’s regional film is “Thank You Vitthala (God),” which was released on November 3, 2017. He was also the director of the Six X series that was released in 2016. Devendra Shivaji Jadhav was the only director, whose short films were got many awards and nominations in prestigious film festivals across the globe.
