Marathi actress Ankita Panvelkar Ankita began her acting career in one-act plays, and like any aspiring artist, she progressed from stage to screen. She has appeared in films and television shows. In the film 'Chandrabhaga,' she played the lead role. During the 2020 lockdown, she released the short film Carpet Area 540.' She has portrayed as a housewife in this film. She has, however, worked in more series than films. She was well known for her performance in 'Ass Saar Surekh Bai.' Aside from a successful acting career, the actress has an interesting love life. Omkar Panavelkar is Ankita Panavelkar's husband. Omkar is also involved in the Marathi film and television industry. He works for a production company.

Omkar and Ankita have a daughter. The actress has played the role of a mother in both of her recent serials, for which she also won the Best Mother Award. How well a young actress like her played the role of an older woman astounded the audience. In the Marathi serial 'Balumama Naa Nae Changbhalan,' she currently plays Sundarabai, the mother of Saint Balu Mama.
