An avid Bollywood film buff, Nilesh Girkar was born and raised in Mumbai, Maharashtra, India. He graduated with B.Sc., in Physics from Versova Welfare Association High School, Andheri, Mumbai. He is an Indian Writer working primarily in Hindi and Telegu films. Before entering the film industry, he worked as a Quality Assurance in one of Mumbai’s leading Medical Transcription BPO’s for a few years. He has previously worked in Marathi films and theatre. He debuted in the industry by working in Ram Gopal Varma’s Agyaat released in 2009. Some of his work as a writer are Department, released in 2012; Ab Tak Chhappan 2, in 2015; Sarkar 3, in 2017; and many more.
