Sweety Pattnaik was born on December 3, 1985, in Udala (Mayurbhanj), Odisha. She is well known for her roles in the Odia television series Manini, Ahuti, and Kalyug, along with her Odia albums. She attended the Pathankot Kendriya Vidyalaya. She completed her LLB master's degree from Takatpur University in Baripada and her English honours degree from Utkal University in Bhubaneswar in 2006. At the Second State Tele Film Award at Utkal Mandap, she earned the Best Actress award for her performance in Ahuti. She has worked in the Ollywood industry for more than 14 years. She has a YouTube account called 'Sweety Oh Sweetie,' where she mainly posts vlogs.Â
