He received a national award from the fraternity of radio and television for the film Sayyid Waris Shah.
Moreover, he has created 50 short features on the art and culture, history, traditions and personas of Punjab. Currently, he is working on two films titled Amazing Rano and Shubh Karman, both of which are based on social life, sports and values.
