Tanishq Kaur, born Tamanna Kaur Anand in 1998, in Ludhiana, Punjab, is a popular singer in the native state. She went to Guru Nanak Public Senior Secondary School, where she won the title of Miss School, and then to Ramgarhia Girls College, both in her hometown. She learnt to sing from her mother who is a music teacher. She was a participant in the Voice of Punjab Season 7, 2016, a singing competition, and reached the semi-finals.
She made her debut in the music industry with the song Langh Aaja in 2017 but rose to fame after featuring in the song Meri Jaan, alongside
