Shwetha made her debut in the year 1998 with the critically acclaimed and award winning Tamil movie direted by Santosh Sivan Malli in which she plays the child a girl named Malli who sets on an adventour and a dangerous mission in order to cure her best friend’s ailment. She on the National award as a best child artiste for this movie.She then went on to appear in another film on child labor named Kutty for which also she won the National award. She was last seen in the movie Navarasa. P. Shwetha also had a brief stint with the Tamil television shows. She appeared as one of the contestants in the popular dance reality show Dancing Jodi No. 1 and also in the celebrity chat show on Jaya TV Alagu Devathai.
