Spoorthi or Spurthi is a 9-year old playback singer, who was hailed from Karnataka, Bangalore and took her chances by joining and became the top 5 contestant in the popular singing reality show, Airtel Super Singer Junior Season 4 on Vijay TV in 2014. Among the 28 participants, she became one of the favorites among the viewers and earned the hearts of many people due to her brilliant singing voice, even though Tamil is not her real mother tongue. 
Some of the best performances that she showed on screen include Ninaithu Ninaithu Parthen and Aduthathu Ambujatha songs, which are widely appreciated by many viewers. She was currently in Chennai, Tamil Nadu for the competition. Spoorthi, who is currently in her 4th Standard, can speak English, Tamil, Kannada and Hindi languages. 
She can sing Carnatic Songs, Classical Songs and Folk Songs and delivers it all with ease and confidence. The way she sings the long sustaining notes is truly amazing, especially the way she handles her breathe control in her selected songs is also mind blowing and is the reason why she became a finalist in this super show.
