Karvannan is a famous director, producer, and screenwriter. He has directed many films. He started his career with the 1990 film Paalam. Karvannan and CNA Parimalam wrote the story of this film and Murali, M.N. Nambiar, and Raja Krishnamoorthy played the lead role in this film. After this, he worked in the 1975 movie Puthiya Katru. He directed this film. He also worked in the 1995 movie Thondan. He directed this film and Karvannan and Dheeran wrote the story of this film. After this, he directed another movie which was released in 2004. The name of this film is Remote. Karvannan died of a heart attack in February 2015 at the age of 55.
