Umesh J Kumar was born in the house of a bank officer and a housewife. He was a middle child of the parents. He has done his schooling from the Don Bosco School and he has done his under graduation and MBA from LIBA Loyola institute of business management. He began his career as the art director in 2013.
He has done many advertisements, tele serials, feature films in Tamil and designed several stage shows. He is an Indian art director in the south film industry more predominantly in Tamil movies. He has done many movies like Bruce lee, AAA and ticket, etc.
