Babu Gogineni, an Indian rationalist, humanist, and a human rights activist, was born on 14th April 1968. Known as the founder of Skillguru and South Asia Humanist Association, he was also a part of the International Humanist and Ethical Union as an executive director.
Gogineni was brought-up in Hyderabad by his mother Aruna Kumari and Father Gurubabu, both hailing from Andhra Pradesh. Before graduating from Nizam College, he was the youngest recognized French Teacher in the city.
Before moving to England in 1997, he had already been honored with prestigious positions in various Human Rights Associations. He appeared in the TV show Big Boss Telegu but was eliminated inside a period of 63 days.
