He was born on 21 June 1987 in Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu. He is the grandson of late veteran actors K. A. Thangavelu and Kaka Radhakrishnan.

He completed his schooling from Carmel Garden Matriculation Higher Secondary School and his graduation from Kumaraguru College of Technology with a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering. For his post-graduation, he enrolled in PSG Institute of Management where he received his MBA degree in marketing.

He made his debut as a child artist in N. K. Vishwanathan’s action-drama “Periya Marudhu” (1994). He also featured in C.
