When he was 17 years old, he came to Chennai and wished to be successful in films. But, he was unlucky at the start of his career, so he worked as auto rickshaw driver while doing some auditions.

He has been acting since 2001 after he got his big break in the popular Sun TV serial “ Metti Oli”, where he played as Bose. He played the husband of one of the five daughters of a troubled father and pulled it off with ease and showed the audience what he was capable of. Impressed with his performance in “Metti Oli”, Director P. He has then gone on to act in many movies and serials and even voiced Atul Kulkarni in the Ajith Kumar starter “ Veeram”, which was released in 2014.

Bose has essayed pivotal roles in movies like “ko”, “Singam”, “Dhaam Dhoom”, “Saroja” etc. He says his best experience was acting with Superstar Rajinikanth in the Tamil action-thriller film, “ Sivaji” under the direction of Shankar in 2007. Although he played a negative role alongside Suman, his performance was showered with praises from all over. He was also part of the 2005 Tamil film, “ Kannamma” under the direction of S.s.Baba Vikram. He has also acted in a few Malayalam movies alongside Mammootty and Dilip.

Bose also dubbed in the Tamil action film “Veeram” this year.
