He is a South Indian actor, known for his work in Tamil movies, or more commonly known as Kollywood. Born on 17th July, 1984, in Vellore, the 31-year-old started his career as a cricketer, and after that, he became a part of the film industry for the past 7 years. Vishal made his debut in 2009 through “Vennila Kabadi Kuzhu”, and won the Edison Awards for Best Debut Actor. 

He has worked in 8 movies, has won the Best Debut Award for one, and has been nominated twice; once for Best Debut Actor award and once for the Best Actor Award. Vishnu Vishal was born on 17 July, 1984, in Vellore, Tamil Nadu, India. He was born to a Tamil Nadu police officer called Ramesh Kudawla. Vishal did his schooling from Campion Anglo-Indian Higher Secondary School, Tiruchirappalli, and MBA in marketing from SRM University. After completing his education, he went on to become a cricketer and played in many TNCA league games, but due to a leg injury, his cricket career came to an end. During his injury, when he was bedridden, he started watching movies and developed an interest in acting. His father’s uncle had been an actor. Therefore, he helped Vishal enter the film industry.

He was offered a role in the sports film, ‘Vennilakabadi Kuzhu’, for which he had to tan his body completely and train for kabaddi. The film was a huge commercial success.
