Lavanya Devi is an actress in the Tamil industry who is well-known as Lavanya. She was born on 1st December 1979. Lavanya has completed her schooling at M. A. Krishnaswamy Higher Secondary School in Chennai, followed by Velankanni Matriculation Higher Secondary School in Hosur. She started her journey with the movie Suryavamsam as Swapna. However, in 1999 she got the chance to play a significant character in Padayappa. In the same year, she appeared in some movies like Jodi, Sethu.
In 2000 Lavanya played the role of an interviewer in the movie Thenali. Excluding supporting roles, she has also appeared in lead roles. Aram Indriyam is the movie in which Lavanya has played the lead character.
