Vaishnavi Aravind is an Indian actress, theatre actor, and voice artist from the Tamil film industry. She was the leading film actress in Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, and Malayalam films from 1988 to 1997. In 1987, she started her career in the movie Thalaivanukkor Thalaivi. After that, she has performed in over 100 films. In 1993, she performed in 100 shows of drama, named Lakshmi Kalyana Vaibhovame, and toured the US, Thailand, Sri Lanka, London, and Paris.

She has also worked in the Television Industry.  She has given voice to the actress Gautami In Nee Pathi Naan Pathi, Anu Agrawal in Thiruda Thiruda, and Simran in Rocketry in The Nambi Effect. In 1995, she received the Nandi Award for Best Supporting Actress for the movie Subha Sankalpam.
