Vijay Ebenezer

Vijay Ebenezer is a music composer. He was born in Chennai and also brought up in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India. He produces soundtracks in the Tamil Film Industry. He got fame and recognition after the music of Kandaen. The audio rights of Kanaden had been bought by Gautham Menon’s Photon Kathaas. In 2005, Vijay Ebenezer composed a song for the first time and made a gospel album, named Nesipaya.

After that, he used to produce gospel albums every year. In 2008, Krish sang in the Nesipaya album, and he had an amazing voice and did a brilliant job which impressed Vijay. From then, Vijay and Krish became very good friends. Krish introduced Vijay Ebenezer to the director of Kandaen, named Mugil. Mugil gave Vijay the opportunity to compose music in the movie Kandaen.

Vijay composed six songs in the movie Kandaen. The music of the film Kandaen became a hit. The music became very popular and received lots of love from the audience. The music of the film Kandaen achieved great success. The most popular song of the movie was “Enge En Idhayam” which was sung by Krish and Dr. Burn. It topped the charts. Vijay said that he got very popular after working in this movie and his friend request on Facebook increased from 200 to 3000 in just a few days.

Vijay said that he has learned to tweet because of constant requests. The sales of his gospel albums have also increased after the success which he received from composing the music in Kandaen. The second film in which he had worked named as Kalakalappu and directed by Sundar C. The audio had been released in April 2012. In 2013, Vijay Ebenezer worked in the film Ya Ya directed by I. Rajasekaran and starring Shiva, Santhanam, Sandhya, and Dhansika portrayed the lead roles.
